Are Actors Paid Too Much?

      Nowadays, there are a lot of discussions about the salary. Moreover, there are a lot of argues about the wage for actors, also. Some people think that it is high, other ones suppose that it is just normal and does not care about it.

       I have found one interesting statistic about it. So, the results are: Yes, actors are paid too much (58%), Some people don't understand how hard they work (42%). Hence, we can say that the difference between the two opinions is subtle. 

       On the one hand, yes, actors are paid too much. There really need not a lot of skills to perform so many people think it is an easy method to make money without working hard. Besides, it is not dangerous and harmful to the health job. Actors just play their roles, they even do not make difficult stunts. They have a special person for it. Is not it a dream job? Just play. That is it. Without any difficulties. So, do they really need that very enormously high salary? Fifty-eight percent of people do not think so, because the biggest part of a population believe that there is plenty of more necessary jobs but those employees do not have an appropriate wage. They totally agree that it is not fair.

       On the other hand, forty-two percent support the idea that the salary for actors is normal. Not high. Not low. Just suitable. Firstly, actors sometimes have psychological pressure because of the emotionally hard roles. For instance, Heath Ledger and his amazing performance in The Dark Knight. Secondly, actors have to give up their privacy because of annoying and sometimes rude paparazzi. There are so many examples of that. Thirdly, there are a huge number of actors who did serious stunts by themselves, like Daniel Craig, Matt Damon, Harrison Ford, Keany Reeves, Tom Cruise, etc. Moreover, there are some examples of actors who died on stage, unfortunately. George Camilleri passed away. Brandon Lee, like his father Bruce Lee, also died during the production. Brandon was shot on the stage of The Crow (1994). Finally, actors have been learning to do something for their roles and it is also could be difficult, emotionally or physically. 

        In conclusion, I would like to say that every job should be paid correctly.
